Emirates Leisure Retail (ELR) is celebrating the opening of two new F&B outlets in Perth Airport’s Terminal 1 forecourt – The Crafty Swan Kitchen and Bar, and Juice Bean Co.
It says that the new outlets are key milestones in the airport’s vast, A$1billion redevelopment project.
According to ELR, The Crafty Swan and Juice Bean Co were conceptualised in line with ELR’s ambition to transform the pre-flight experience via premium F&B offerings, casual and comfortable interiors, welcoming atmospheres, and offering excellent value for money.
The Crafty Swan’s concept and menu were designed in partnership with prominent, Perth-based chef, Jason Walker, who has managed a number of Michelin-starred establishments across the globe during his impressive gastro career.
ELR states that the outlet “incorporates the sophistication of a premium restaurant, high quality seasonal ingredients paired with a selection of the finest beverages, a casual and comfortable dining space, and competitive prices”.
Commenting on the recent openings, Adam Summerville, ELR Australia’s managing director, says: “We are delighted to be a key partner with Perth Airport for their extensive redevelopment project, and through the opening of The Crafty Swan and Juice Bean Co are proud to offer comfortable and convenient, yet unique and memorable experiences to travellers.
“Our exciting partnership with Michelin-careered chef, Jason Walker, further raises the bar for airport experiences, and we are hopeful that this will pave the way for future collaborations between ELR and high-profile culinary partners.
“The importance placed on locally-sourced, seasonal food at both The Crafty Swan and Juice Bean Co mark a significant turning point in what travellers can expect from airport dining, and we are proud to be leading the way in raising travellers’ expectations.”
Perth Airport CEO, Kevin Brown, notes: “Providing a welcoming and lasting impression of Western Australia, combined with a superior customer experience, has been key to our significant forecourt upgrade.
“We’re thrilled to welcome our latest premium food and beverage outlets to the forecourt which showcase the best of Western Australia’s local produce and Perth’s great outdoor lifestyle.”
A Dubai head-quartered company, ELR manages and operates over 260 outlets, with 75 airport premises catering to a potential audience of over 200 million passengers each year.
