Demand rising at Asia-Pacific’s busiest international airports

With IATA’s winter season now underway, OAG’s list of the Busiest International Airports for November 2023 reveals that Asia-Pacific airports are moving up, while European airports see month-on-month capacity decreases.

Dubai International Airport (DXB) is the busiest international airport once again with 4,805,790 scheduled seats.

London Heathrow stays in second place but the gap between it and Dubai International has increased to 27%. Both Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS) and Paris Charles De Gaulle (CDG) move down the list, with capacity decreases of 11% and 9% respectively.

They make way for Singapore Changi (SIN), which will offer 3,157,076 seats and Seoul Incheon (ICN), with 3,098,779 seats.

Frankfurt, whilst retaining the same position as last month, eighth place, has seen seats per day fall by 13%.
