In an Australian first, Sydney Airport has opened a barber’s shop, gym and a nail salon in the international Arrivals area of Terminal 1 to helping travellers refresh, recharge and reset from the moment they arrive.
Barber’s Lounge is now open at T1 International Arrivals, providing grooming services for passengers seeking a quick refresh before or after their flight.
It will be followed in the Arrivals area by Anytime Fitness, which will become Australia’s first airport based gym, and ProfessioNail, the latter to ensure travellers can feel polished and pampered without sacrificing time.
Sydney Airport’s general manager for retail, Gail Taylor, said: “We know that after a long flight, people want things to feel simple and seamless. Whether you’re arriving in Sydney for the first time or coming home, our focus is on making the experience smoother and more enjoyable.
“These new service-led offerings are part of our broader commitment to making every step through the airport easier.
