Hong Kong International Airport (HKG). has unveiled its ‘Golden Trumpet Trail’, a pathway of over 200 golden trumpet trees that are bursting into bloom, filling the air with vibrant golden yellow hues.
The Golden Trumpet Trail lies near Kwo Lo Wan Road and HKG’s HKIA Ancient Kiln Park.
Two viewing spots are set up in this year’s blooming for visitors to take pictures.
The blossoming period of the golden trumpet tree typically lasts for 7 to 14 days, but it may vary from year to year depending on weather conditions.
HKG operator, Airport Authority Hong Kong, has been enhancing the airport landscape by introducing different species of plants, aiming to light up the airport island with colours, and strengthen the connection among visitors, the airport community and local residents.
