ADP INGÉNIERIE WINS NEW CONTRACTS AT FOUR ASIA-PACIFIC AIRPORTS

Groupe ADP, through subsidiary ADP Ingénierie, has won a series of new contracts in the Asia-Pacific region offering design, study and technical assistance to airports in China, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.

According to Gratien Maire , CEO of ADP Ingénierie, this series of contracts recognise th company's "360° of expertise in the airport value chain".

In China, ADP Ingénierie has been awared a consulting contract for the upgrading of airside facilities at Beijing Capital International Airport.

The contract covers runways, taxiways and parking stands.

Beijing Capital is the second largest airport in the world handling around 95 million passengers per annum, and this figure will soon top 100 million due to strong annual traffic growth.

In Indonesia, ADP Ingénierie is to offer technical assistance for the design and planninhg of a new passenger terminal to Adisutjipto International Airport in Yogyakarta.

The new standalone terminal will eventually welcome 25 million passengers per annum and 90% of the airport's domestic flights.

Yogyakarta airport, located on the island of Java, welcomed 7.2 million passengers in 2016.

In Thailand, ADP Ingénierie has signed a contract to design the third runway at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport.

During the 1990s, ADP Ingénierie took part in a competition for the design of the airport, which handles 56 million passengers every year.

And in Vietnam, ADP Ingénierie has been chosen to undertake a feasibility study for the expansion of Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City.

The gateway currently handles around 36 million passengers and enjoys average traffic traffic growth of 20% per annum.
